A dish that isn't sold as one item
The restaurant is built on the customer assembling their own bowl. That is the hardest thing to model in an ordering app: there is no item with a fixed price — there is a base, a protein and add-ons, and every choice changes the price, the nutrition and what the kitchen sees.
- The dish is assembled from components, not sold ready-made
- The price has to update live with every add-on
- Three order types, each with its own timing and charges
- The kitchen must receive the full build, exactly as chosen
What we built
The challenge was never the interface — it was teaching the app a dish with no fixed price.
